Did anyone make by any chance Drex files from the Beastie's acapella audio files ? I'm very interested to try it in Reason/Cubase. Unfortunately I tried to work in Recycle, but I still can't figure out how it works.. but it would be great if one of you have some ? :D (y)

Thanks in advance ! :o

I just created a beat in Reason, dragged the mp3 acapella and wav from the beat into Cubase and finished it all in there (:

The remixes that I've done I put the acapellas in de ReDrum as an voice to use the drummachine as trigger and some control and mastering efx.

Now I am using reason and cubase together by rewire. Audio in cubase, and work the rest in reason. This way you can also record audio "in"/alongside reason. This works a lot easyer as you can punch in and out and other neat things on your audio. this way u keep the versatility with reason.

I use reason all the time and I wouldn't bother trying to make the whole accapella a .rex file. Reason is a little touchjy with large rex files and A two and a half minute track might be too much, it'd also be a pain to work with in the rteason sequencer. I create most my beats in reason, and i ReWire it to Sony Acid 5.0 for beastie remixes. I set the tempo, lay the accapella out in acid, As long as you have the cpu power, they work toghet flawlessly.
