There does seem to be a group of fans who point to Hello Nasty as the drop off point in quality. And To The 5 Boroughs didn't exactly help change their opinions.

It's the same thing as Simpsons fans who point to Season 10 as when the show started to suck.

I've also seen people say Check Your Head is when the Beastie Boys started to suck because that's when they "became a rock band".
