prolly the break the hot dog in half, shove it down your mouth, soak the bread in water and shove it down method.

The proper thing to do on US holidays like this one is offer condolences to any Native American friends that you have, like moi.

I'm not a fireworks fan although I took my kid to see them when he was young. We live just a couple of blocks from a nice overlook and still, the fireworks were usually sad--you could hear them better than you could see them. :)

A cemetery in my one friend's neighborhood is at a confluence of a couple of boroughs and the city itself. The neighbors in those boroughs put off their own fireworks and some of them are pretty impressive if you like that sort of thing. If you sit in that cemetary at its highest point, you've got fireworks nearly at a 360 and that's okay. On the walk way out, you can take this one path through the pet graveyard part of the cemetary and that's kind of cool.

I'm not a big fan of fireworks, yet I still love going to see the Zambelli thing.
