Every year I say I'll buy one again but I never do. Today may be the day. This (http://www.skatewarehouse.com/descpageDKENJOI-ENRPDK.html) is a deck I've been checking out in my local skate shop.

Anyone else ever gone back to skating after years of not even being on one? I remember someone starting a thread when I first joined in which they said they had just bought one after a long time of not skating (I also say I'm gonna buy one in that thread) Let me also state I wasnt really good on it back then either. It will be more of a form of transportation to start with.

Good goin, mate! I had a 5 yr pause once, wasn't that good to begin with, but I managed to drop in and ride a miniramp again after a few days. And it's good for transport to go to some place far from the subway, cause in a way you take something to sit on with you. If you drink something there, you better carry it back though, I can't skate anymore after 3-4 beers...:(

Would that be would be this thread (http://www.beastieboys.com/bbs/showthread.php?t=57530)?

Good for you wanting to skate again. (y)

I've had mine since October, but I can still barely ollie. It is good for transportation, though.

Enjoi makes solid decks, with a sick shape. i've been skating with them since they came out.

just bought Bag of Suck the other day, too. sure, it took five or so years, but it's a crazy vid.

I was going to search for it, but I'm pretty lazy. Its pretty symbolic as I posted that when college was starting and now I'm posting this just as college is finishing. But at the same time it also shows how long I take to actually do something.

So was it a worthwhile investment? Have you upgraded it since? I think I'm defiantly going to get one on the way home now. Not sure if they'll put it together for me or if I'll do it when I get home. Their pretty cool guys, perhaps they will. May even skate to work tonight. Don’t know how cool it would be skating home at 4am though. People may complain.

Maybe it'll get me out the house more as well, especially since summers coming up. I cant see me even ollieing anytime soon though

after about a 12 year hiatus, i picked up a chad muska (http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j94/lockedandloadedkillah/muskaskopp.jpg) by accident on ebay. i was trying to bid on an original dead stock t. guererro. my bid wasn't showing up, so i bid on the next thing. they had 18 in stock just like it. i was committed.

we built a 3 1/2 ft half and rode that for a summer. we tried to street skate like we used to, but it wasn't the same. i'd like to have my own 3ft and ride it all day, everyday.

i occasionally skate across the street, but i'm no where near my old skill level.

i should have never stopped.

I went into the shop on the way home and didnt get a board as they had no griptape. But they're getting a delivery tomorrow.

I'm not getting the previously mentiond rasta board as they said I would be better with something bigger than 7.5. They're also getting some new chocolate boards in tomorrow.

this skate shop in my hometown has a new element helium science deck that i've been thinking about getting, but i think i'm just gonna save cash for a new snowboard. i like the snow better anyway.
