I don't generally like Toynbee, but I found the article interesting.
We don't get insightful editorials like that here (or at least very few and far between).

All we get is vitriole and tidal waves of bullshit.

Shouldn't there come a time when the left and right both see an incident/event/occurence and both sides just see the reality of it?

I'm probably just wishfully thinking, for isn't it their job to just sugarcoat while spitting bile?
