does anyone ever "lol" when you know a couple in a relationship personally, and one persons profile says "single" and the others says "in a relationship"? It tends to be the male who leaves his single.

that always makes me lol, unless the one person just isnt saavy enough to bother changing it or doesnt care.

Yeah, I've noticed this same exact thing. The girlfriend has "In A Relationship" while the boyfriend is "Single." However, he never uses his account, so maybe he's too dumb to know the difference.

Though there was one circumstance where another couple had the girlfriend say "Single" but the boyfriend had "In A Relationship." Which was fitting because when the guy decided to break up with her, he said: "You know, I think this relationship isn't going anywhere, so I think it best we break up."

Her reply? "What relationship?"

Oh man. That's gotta suck!

i find it funny when someone leaves their "orientation" blank...

it means they are gay

or unsure. But I agree....I noticed one of my friends left hers blank and then a couple of weeks ago she told me she used to date some girl, so it all made sense.

i set up an account at one of those sites that photograph parties and clubs and kinda have a myspace like section.

i did it to get pics of me and my friends.

3 weeks later, the girl i was seeing casually mentions that site, or one like it, and asks me what drives people to live on it.
i made some joke about them being losers...:\
(i used it for 10 minutes, just for the pics, i swear to Zeus)
and then she reveals that she found me on the site.

apparently, my not looking for monogamy comment was a tad shocking...
(i didn't mean it. but she was also insecure about that too)

i lol'd just remembering that debacle.

i met this really awesome girl on "face the jury" back in 2000. Before the days of myspace and facebook.

A friend of mine does this, only because his wife doesn't use MySpace. It's pretty low, if you ask me.

If you don't fill out any personal info on your account, your profile will automatically say that you're single. But alot of guys I know purposely have single on there when they aren't. It's disgusting.

My Mom is stalking me on myspace!

thats right, she mentioned the pictures that I just added the other day. So what did I do, naturally? I went online and stalked my mother on myspace...

I dont know if you comprehend what I am saying...

My girlfriend edited her myspace so it doesnt say if she's single or not

A friend of mine was getting so popular on myspace, when she went to (emo)concerts people would constantly be recognising her from her profile :/
