Don't get me wrong, I like Tim Burton. But I'm pretty tired of seeing things Tim Burtonized. Tim Burton directing this is just too obvious, Jonze is a much more interesting choice to direct this.

i loved this book as a kid.
metallica have a song called 'where the wild things are' so naturally i got a bit confused reading the title of this thread.

I knew Keener was on board; didn't know about Benicio. (y)
They're using puppets for the creatures, which is potentially very cool.
