Optimus Prime commands one of the strongest armies in the known galaxy, and has utilised their sheer numbers to fight off bigger threats than Voltron. Even without Prime, the Autbots have thrived and survived. Voltron vs Superion, Defensor, Computron, AND the Dinobots? Nah.

Let's not also forget the respect he has always commanded from his greatest foes; the Decepticons. Anyone who could defeat Prime could potentially defeat the Deceps, and because of this, a temporary allegiance could be forged, thus doubling the might at Prime's disposal. So now we've got the Constructicons, Bruticus, Menasor, Predaking and Abominus against Voltron (who's also fighting off the Autobot combos).

Yes, Prime may die in a one-on-one battle (and even then, it's sort of a stretch), but those five cats wouldn't get much time to gloat. Even if the combo warriors failed, the number of loyal and courageous fighters willing to battle big cats (piloted by some kid who can't control his erections and a broad who sucked 66 dicks) would simply overpower BOTH Voltrons together.

Good for you, your research skills are impecable; however, if we are going get technical all team Voltron has to do is enlist the services of Megatron and his army and maybe make a treaty with King Zarkon and make a galatic strike. Transformers was alright. My favorite show was Beast Wars, as it had a compelling plot, especially later on, when Dino Bot got brought back, (after dying) and fought for the bad guys. Yeah, I think it's my favorite Gundam as well, but I'm quite partial to Gundam X. But I shouldn't comment as I haven't seen all the other Gundam series--Z, ZZ, G Gundam, (but this sucked majorly) and of course, the original that started it all, Mobile Suit Gundam.

Wing had an excellent dub, that I can say with certainty.

We've gone off-topic, but let me just mention that you should check out the anime series, Noein and Blood+. They are such greatness. Noein is about time travel/alternate dimensions/mystery, and Blood+ has to do with vampires, but it's a continuation of the Blood: The Last Vampire anime movie. The girl on my avatar is the main character of the Blood story. She's a vampire, so to speak.

You can watch whole subbed episodes on Youtube, though, which is nice.

look, optimus is solid guy. hands down. but in a straight up fist-fight, I think soundwave would shit all over him. it would be a no contest victory. optimus would try to pull out the matrix of leadership at the last fucking second, becasue he'd have no choice because he was getting his ass beat so bad. then, soundwave would stride right up, slap that fucking thing from his hand and tear optimus up. then he would steal his energon and feed it to his ravage and rumble. they'd eat it up gladly becasue they are his little bitches.

soundwave never got a chance to whoop-down on optimus because, well, he's just that fucking cool. he doesn't need to show his skills, he just shoots his posse out of his chest to do all his dirty work, and then he fucking cruises away, typically with a fresh and calculated robotic-toned one-liner.

Rodimus was just keepin shit warm for Optimus. Even Zombie Optimus was able to fuck on Roddy. Soundwave is the man, but I doubt he could beat Optimus. He'd probably be the type that eats tapes.
