I liked limp bizkit at first, because they were something different. but then I realized pretty quickly that I'd made a mistake.

stop pretending like you never liked Limp Bizkit when you did. Worst thing that happens is I go "haha fag" and we move on in life.

i had never heard them before that crazy thing on myspace where everyone's song was changed to one of their tracks. and i thought, wow, this is really bad.

I liked the songs that played during 2000 non-stop ("N2Together" and such), but when that "Chocolate Starfish" or whatever album emerged, I suddenly realized: "I liked this crap? The fuck?"

Forgive me father for I have sinned...

Sigh. I remember when "Nookie" was huge, and we asked some DJ to play it at the end of band camp.

Also I remember somehow coming by the Mission Impossible 2 Soundtrack.

Fred Durst is only more of a douche for tricking me into liking those songs. At least I never actually got his CDs.

if you're trying sound cool, you failed because it's more embarassing to be a george michael fan than a limp bizkit fan.

i liked them alot when they were big and i was small. i still listen to significant other songs now and then for nostalgia's sake

I saw them live before I knew anything about them. At the show, I thought they were good, so I bought their album and was quickly turned off by the monotonous whining.*

I have no problems admitting that I liked the bassline in that song called "Rearranged" (I think that is what it was called). Its a good bassline.
Other than that....yeah its pretty shit, but I've only heard whatever was released on the radio or on mtv or whatever....so maybe there are some gems on their albums

well it looks like the road to heaven
but it feels like the road to hell
when i knew which side my bread was buttered
i took the knife as well
posing for another picture
everybody's got to sell
but when you shake your ass
they notice fast
and some mistakes were built to last
that's what you get
i say that's what you get
that's what you get for changing your mind
and after all this time
i just hope you understand
SOMETIMES THE CLOTHES DO NOT MAKE THE MAN

I thought they were good.

They have some good rock-rap song that should be played at high volumes.

And 100% honest to God, I've never heard of Panic! at the Disco.

Unless I've heard a song of theirs, and didn't know it was them.

my brother looks a lot like a skinny durst, so much that once at a grocery store a woman followed him around begging him to come to her daughter's birthday party and pretend to be fred because she was all in love with him. he happened to be wearing track pants, so the resemblance was even stronger...she even followed him to his car, and offered him $100...he finally agreed, only i think he refused the money. he pulled a red cap out of his trunk and went inside the party and said, YO, FRED SAYS HI, and said he was "steve durst, his brother" and all the girls went crazy and hugged him.

I still like the old Limp Bizkit. Most of those songs have a cool vibe going on.

and for everybody who hasn't heard this a million times:
Panic! At The Disco is proof of how badly this world is polluted by people with no taste at all.

at a show in 99, i got a signed limp bizkit poster, right around the time they released nookie. 3 months later, i found it in the bottom of my closet and sold it to some shmuck for 35 bucks on ebay.

I liked the first album when I knew little about music in general, and that's probably the case with most people. When you're young, you don't have many outlets to get into new and different types of music genres, so you take what you can get. Now, of course, he sucks, and even the first album--I look back and wonder why I liked it.

Hey, we all have embarrassing moments in life. It's nothing to be ashamed of. Poking fun at people for music preferences is immature. The same applies to preferences in general.

first off there's no reason to compare tool to limp bizkit.

there's actually talent involved in tool's song writing

limp bizkit is nothing more than all those hairbands during the mid/late 80's... complete obnoxious shit. just as that hairband shit was kicked off by a great band(van halen) that rapcore shit was kicked off by another equally great band(ratm). nothing but imitators jacking off and exagerating a style and not the music.

Uh, no. This isn't about whether Panic at the Disco suck (which they do, this is well-established fact), but when you say the world is polluted by people with no taste, you kind of lose the right to say anything bad about people's tastes when you proclaim to STILL love Limp Bizkit. This is the year 2006, not 1999.

a friend of mine at work said she saw Fred on the streets in LA when she was on vacation. I guess he's kinda fat now, more than he was before. She said he looked sweaty. I"m sure it was a sight to see. I wonder if he still rocks the hat, my guess is yes.
