I picked up my first San Jose scar on my upper right shin a few months back on the bike just prior to Harley. This one had those pedals that are like pinking (sp?) sheers, and at one point I accidentally rammed my shin right into an upturned pedal. Ouched like hell, and it bled some pretty impressive blood, but I didn't think it was all that deep, so other than some towelette action, I didn't tend to it much. Now I've got a tear-shaped dark scar about the size of a dime.

What's your latest?

I've accumulated sooo many scars from bike riding over the years myself too !

...tattooing would be pointless. (lb)

Funny how it can happen and you don't always realize it 'til later. I've got an unexplainable bruise right now on one knee.

But anyway -- no, not a motorbike -- a regular old bicycle.

Actually, not real regular -- it was a seventies racing bike made in Portugal.

Made in Portugal...what is it then ???

You need an Italian bike like the La Strada that Dave Stohler rode. (y)

Funny this should come up....although it's not quite a scar yet I had a 4-wheeler accident in Ibiza this weekend and wound up getting 12 stitches in my chin. It's going to leave a pretty nice scar though

az- I've never like metal pedals because thye hurt a lot. Plastic ftw.

About 4 years ago, my brother was angry at me one day after school. So for some reason he picked up my fat cat. Placed her shakey paws on my head (she only stood there for about a second. She got scared and leaped off, allowing her back claw to siiiiide down my face. From about 2cm's under my eye to lower-middle cheek, there's a not very noticable scar. I felt pretty cool for a week or so.

ps. Hi Lopp!!

Beer scar over right eyebrow.
I have a beer scar over the left eyebrow, too, which was stitched. There is no noticable difference between them, so if you want my advice, don't bother with stitches.

Perhaps but my most recent one tore out a chunk of flesh and you could see my chin bone.....I think getting the stitches was a good idea

I bought it used, as is.

It's gone now. Now I've got a Bianchi Osprey named Harley.

...it was a... a... Flandria or something like that.

A couple of brothers in Germany or something had a factory for racing bikes and mopeds. They'd have the knock-offs produced in Portugal.

It had really great stickers on it.

Ow.

I had a cat wake me one time by taking a swat at my presumably-REMing eyeball. Nice chunk of eyelid was gone.

i haven't had any new scars for years. the last one i got is in the roof of my mouth from when i was 16. some fucking random drug dealer punched me in the mouth coz he thought i called the cops on him or some shit. it was very very random, he would've been on some shit, at least speed, but by the look in his eye it was mostly angeldust. but fuck me, it left a nasty gash and believe me, you bleed a shitload more from your mouth than any other area.

I had a big ass wound on my knee when I was about 12. It was too big to stitch or close with braces so the doc put some sort of acid on it. Can't say it hurt much more than before, even though I was scared as hell. Left an ugly scar.
