but I'm still gonna watch the All Star game tonight because it's in my hometown. If you're not from Pittsburgh and are capable of watching the game tonight, you should just to see the awesome architecture that is PNC Park. It's hands down the best ballpark in the US.

its a nice ballpark. but new ballparks always get praised, then 3 years later everyone realizes its just ok.

all-star games sucks so why bother watching.

i always thought the bridge you can see was fake until recently. it looks fake and ugly. so they're good and making ballparks but not so good at making bridges.

Uh, Pittsburgh has the most bridges in THE WORLD. THE WORLD. If our bridges were shitty, then there would be major commuter deaths daily. Don't knock the color either, if you grew up here, you'd love the yellow bridges, too.

The Pirates suck, new ballpark or not. PNC, ATT, and all the other new parks were built by the same company, so they all look the same. Most other teams with new ballparks can at least win more than they lose, though.

People who hate baseball usually can't appreciate soccer (football) either.

You have a point. All the new ballpark's outfields open up to the Roberto Clemente Bridge and the Pittsburgh skyline. They are all exactly the same. As for the Pirates sucking, thanks for the info. I had no clue.

Pirates are sucking now but give Jim Tracy some time. That man is one hell of a manager that knows how to find and use talent. Freddy Sanchez does not suck and Jason Bay is not too bad either. Give em' time. PNC is a beautiful park but mainly because of the skyline. I have to give it up to Dodger Stadium for the best park. I might be a little biased though.

I was at the Cubs/Pirates game yesterday. The Pirates won the 1 run game and will pull ahead of the Cubs today. :(
