how does it work? what exactly do you guys do? Do you bet or just talk about the teams? isn't it like you get to put together a team of your fav players from different teams? but if so, then what? :confused: yeah I'm unclear on the concept. but I know alot dudes who like to get involved in these things.

a typical FF league:

-you Draft 16 players total, but can only start 8 players at time in a game.
-you draft players to fill a typical roster: a quarter back, 2 running backs, 3 wide receiver, a kicker, and a team defense (8 players)- plus your backups on the bench (8 players).
-you get points from each player based on how they perform in their games-basically the statistics they put up: how many Touchdowns they scored, how man yards they ran or threw or caught for, how many sacks or interceptions your defense got, etc.
- so it stands to reason you want to pick the players that score the most touchdowns, and get the most yards, etc.
(more on that later)

-HERE’S HOW POINTS ARE SCORED:

-Head-to-Head, Points Based System.
Scoring based on total stats each period.

Scoring for Offensive Categories
FG - Field Goals 3 points
Plus 3 points for a FG of 50+ Yds
FL - Fumble Lost, Including ST plays -1 point
MFG - Missed Field Goal -1 point
Pa2P - Passing Two-point Conversion 2 points
PaInt - Passing Interception -2 points
PaTD - Passing TD 6 points
Plus 1 point for a PaTD of 50+ Yds
PaYd - Passing Yards 1+ PaYd = 1 point for every 25 PaYds
Plus a 3 point bonus @ 300+ PaYd
Re2P - Receiving Two-point Conversion 2 points
ReTD - Receiving TD 6 points
Plus 1 point for a ReTD of 50+ Yds
ReYd - Receiving Yards 1+ ReYd = 1 point for every 10 ReYds
Plus a 3 point bonus @ 100+ ReYd
Ru2P - Rushing Two-point Conversion 2 points
RuTD - Rushing TD 6 points
Plus 1 point for a RuTD of 50+ Yds
RuYd - Rushing Yards 1+ RuYd = 1 point for every 10 RuYds
Plus a 3 point bonus @ 100+ RuYd
XP - Extra Points 1 point

Scoring for Defensive Categories
DFR - Defensive/ST Fumble Recovered (ID/DT/DST) 2 points
DTD - Total Defensive and Special Teams TD 6 points
Int - Interceptions 2 points
PA - Points Against, Total Points Scored 0 - 0 PAs = 10 points
2 - 13 PA = 6 points
14 - 20 PA = 4 points
21 - 27 PA = 2 points
SACK - Sack 1+ SACK = 1 point for every 1 SACK
Plus a 2 point bonus @ 5+ SACK
STY - Safety 2 points
