The story: Two magicians (Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman) in 20th century London have a rivalry that becomes increasingly dangerous.
This is the first footage I've seen (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ncttD0YhqPg). I'm hopeful.
Odd that neither sounds like they're doing the accent I would expect. Bale's Welsh and Jackman's Australian -- what's up? I'd expect British accents.

I'd expect Slovenian accents.
Yes.
Bale pwns every role he even thinks about. This is a movie that I will see.

*crosses fingers*
I'm glad Nolan didn't get tied into grinding out two more Batman sequels in the next few years. They need to take their time with that. The first one was good, but pretty ponderous, and the plotting/pacing was kind of off. That's the first time I wasn't sure he was completely in control of the machinery.
Then again, jumping to a $200 million budget has to be kinda nutty for a man. That was the world's biggest shooting stage so far, that hanger.
