ok, i have a couple of guesses as to the bargain. it could be that this bike was overstock and this company purchased it cheap from the original store where it was sold. or, it could be that this is brand new but is an older model and the new model is the hot seller now.
it seems like it'd be kinda hard to royally fuck up a bike -- it either rides or it doesn't. so if you like the color and the style, and if it's able to be ridden, then you win.

That's what I thought.
I'm wary of the "30 day warranty", and actually being able to send it back/ get repaired or even get any kind of service from this company, but I think I could risk it.
I don't want to get scammed and end up on "A current Affair" along with Dodgy Lebanese Builders and Kids with ADHD

grip shifters are weird
Grip shifter suck, they take up most of the handle, leaving a big handed person to struggle. and if your at a specially crucial oedalling moment you're messed if you accidentally shift. I hate mine, I want speed shifters.

There is either a bunch of bullshit that goes along with the delivery fees or the bike is gonna show up slightly damaged.
What kind of bike is a Masano? I've never even heard of it.

grip shifters suck
seeing that masano doesn't have a product website and it's components look like bargain bin quality I would assume it's rather generic, heavy, and rides like doodoo on demanding trails

but I fear I have to get an upgraded derailer

if you only want to spend that much money you should get a rigid frame bike from a real bike shop. that's a kmart bike. you can't find a new bike with suspension at the price that is worth it.

first 4 foot drop and the thing will snap....but I can't comment much, I'm riding hardtail (but still love my bike!)

I own an Arashi Switch. It's pretty much junk, well not really, it get's the job done. I need to get my back brake squeezer fixed bad. Yeah, i said brake squeezer. 27 speeds. I just don't like the large aluminum tubing. Damn you with your fancy pants Haro.

my bike is pretty much costom. i orginally had a 2000 trek vrx. but i cracked the frame in the last year the vrx was produced. so when i replaced the frame(thank you lifetime warranty!) it was replaced by the new fuel frame. and i've been replacing worn out components over the years. so it's basically a fuel with all shimano XT components, a rochshox psilo fork, and mavic rims.

must be fun building it up, I'm still riding stock with my judy TT's, alexrim dm18's, and deore derailer
nothing hyper expensive, but rugged and getting the job done
a new derailer and some disc brakes would be nice, any suggestions on where to buy online?

I used to freestyle in highschool and I still like to watch it on TV. I have viewed what amounts to probably thousands and thousands of hours of freestyling over the years and that is the first time I have ever seen anybody freestlye on a fixed gear ten speed like that. Girlie was bad as hell. I like the backwards wheelie and the flail boomerang.(y)
