Yes. Lose your past friends and make new friends that don't do what you were doing before you went into the clinic. A matter of face, you should make friends that don't do anything at all. Go to NA and AA meetings on a regular basis, they will support your sobriety and you are more than welcome to lean on them all you want when times get hard. They will get hard, trust me.

I'm very blessed because I can take a drink or smoke a joint and leave it alone for months. I have a whole nother problem. This certain problem is like Lay's potatoe Chips, you can't just do one. I tend to leave that shit alone. I rather not say what it is but I'm sure you and many others have figured it out by now.

Goodluck with sobriety, It will be tuff.

Find something time-consuming to do instead of just trying to drop the drugs. Without filling that hole it just becomes impossible.

Just take it one day at a time, playa. One day at a time. That's all you can do.

Good luck and God be with you. (y)

Yeah, keep connections with good people who are willing to help, visit meetings and all of that. Don't go and hang with people you were before, because it'll just tempt you.

I have a friend in an institution right now, but it's for an eating disorder. She called me crying yesterday, saying how much it upset her to see all these beautiful girls who think they're hideous, killing themselves slowly. I just wanted to tell her "Now you know how we feel." I'm going to visit her this weekend. (y)

Take up productive and constructive hobbies that will keep you occupied. Something that will help clear your mind, and relax you.
