*warning* sentimentality ahead...

if there's one really shitty thing about this place it's the fact that it serves as an actual archive af shitty things that have happened in life.

occasionally, I'll dig through my own old posts/threads and most recently, I came across all the threads back when I got dumped after dating a girl for 2 years and moving in with her.

the weirdest thing is that I never talked with actual friends about it. I just posted shit here. And you guys, (well, most) were the supportive ones. You mufuckers got me through it, in some backwards way. And I'll probably never meet any of you.

Isn't that just a little bit fucking weird?

Yeah, pretty fucking sad really if you stop and think about it. Ahoy, the magic of the internet at play.

come on backwoods, you posted some personal shit on here. the anonymity factor can make it easier to talk about shit.

I think it's going to become the rule rather than the exception, this posting personal shit on the net.

i don't think it's all that sad.

i guess the real point of this is how I'll probably still think about the fucking BBMB when I'm 50. And that's sorta weird.

the anonymity factor does help. Also, some of the people here now I do consider friends (even if we don't hang out often). But I think the fact that we can put it out there and people will read it IF THEY WANT TO is nice. You aren't forcing anyone, or asking anyone. I always liked that about the internet.
