I think that's what it's called. you know when you streach em way out with huge disks. I like the look of it on some people but I couldn't do it myself. it's just more permanaent that most pericings. I mean once they are streached they are streached, you cant just take the gauge out and expect it to shrink up.

someday we are going to have a whole generation of 70yr olds with floppy tribal ear lobes. and some how that's humorous to me.:)

There's precisely one person I run into that sports the look all right.

In other words, it's not the first fucking thing you notice when you see him. He's a Starbucks employee, which makes it kind of funny to me -- they have to cover up their tattoos (this other guy has one on his forearm about the size of a quarter) but guaging is okay. :rolleyes:

well I think anything over the size of a half dollar is rediculous (and also the bigger they get the more chance that they will end up weakening the skin so much that it breaks off. yuck.)

but like that suicide girl I have the hots for has them guaged about size of a quarter and I really like hers. ( you can see in sure shots in my "I could look at ____ all day" thread. Sometimes she wears really light colored ones and they look cool and somewhat inconspicous.

but they just look wierd if you take a guage out. to answer crystals question...yes there is a tribe that practices this...I beleive they are in Africa.
