Wow! Congratulations! It's terrific to get to do something you have been wanting to do. I have tried for jobs that involve working there, but it's not likely to happen. My brother got transfered there and it was wasted on him (except that he came home with a snooker table).

I won't ask how you're going to support yourself. I was there in June and I couldn't believe how expensive everything had gotten. I'm still sorting through my credit card bills. :p

Clearly there's no reason to have a car. Still, I would like to understand exactly how expensive gas was. I couldn't handle the metric conversion. :o
