Go see a dermatologist.

Go to a doctor. They often use a test where they give you a sheet of transparent plastic (like you use on an overheard projector) and a felt tip pen, and you keep track of its size by drawing over it with the felt pen to see if it's gotten / getting bigger.

Yes, go and see the doctor. Only he/she can judge.

I read somewhere once there was discussion of changing the name of the zodiac sign Cancer because of the disease, which is stupid...also related but sort of irrelevant to the subject.
Then again, this is an irrelevant thread. Go see a doctor or get that cancer sniffing dog.

You know you have to get shit checked out if a mole has all of the sudden becomed raised where it had not been before, or if it has grown to be larger than a pencil eraser.
My skin has Irish attributes which means moles. The dermatologist came in to look at me and told me in 2 minutes of seeing me that it wasn't cancerous. No tests or anything, she just looked and said "Nope."

^make an appointment yourself?
I liked the cancer sniffing dog idea. I would also like an STD sniffing dog, a dog sniffing dog and a ketamine sniffing dog.
You heard me Santa!?!? I WANT A DOGGY!!! :(

I lived in South Florida and moved to the dry air of Texas. From humidty to no humidity. My skin is shocked.
I think it is interesting how people react to skin freckles, moles, bumps, goiters, etc. Everybody is different. I had a co-worker that had a large bump the size of a softball growing on the top of his shoulder. He said it was not cancerous so he did not have surgery to remove the large puss filled appendage. I just thought is was crazy that he would leave it.

i worked with a guy who had one of those on the top of his head. this was when i worked in food service, he worked behind the counter, it was terrifying. it was company policy that all males had to wear hats, but he didn't. maybe he couldn't, but i think it might have just been because nobody wanted to say anything.

i really don't like wearing sunscreen and i didn't know that the day was going to be so hot.
so when i got to the soccer field i noticed it was very hot but theres wasn't any lotion anywhere:( the next day i forgot to put on sunblock but now i put lotion on evryday when i go outside for hours to play soccer but by then the damage was already done:(
I think it is interesting how people react to goiters .
