a human resources director..or someone who hires and fire people.:( We have some stuff going on around here...trying to hire a new person for a new position and also evaluating if someone's position needs to be replaced. I do not like having to be involved in these decisions.
it sucks to see people tank interviews, or be so hopeful. it's like I know what it's like to need a job. it's hard to have to turn people down, even if you know they can't cut it.
I really need to be less sensative.
also they are painting the halls here. paint fumes.

I participated in the interview process for a couple of positions at my old job and boy was that an eye opening experience.
We had one lady start crying about how great it was that we are working with those "poor kids with disabilities".
And I am always surprised at how many people will listen to a question and then just go off on a tangent and not even answer it.
I actually wish I could tell people where they went wrong in interviews. I mean, come on.

yeah. but in a few cases it's not that the person actually went wrong..maybe they just did have quite the same expereince as another candidate and we just don't have the time to train someone even though they maybe perfectly capable.
anyway...I don't enjoy having evaluate people. I just don't.

i had a job interview today. which is judgement central, im sure. except the woman said she really liked me, and we had a really nice 30 min convo. anyway, she said she'll call friday to tell me. tell me what? i dont know.
anyway... she also made it perfectly clear that she values her "team" and that if she hires one bad apple, then the apple gets fired quickly. so i just bragged about my niceness or something.
ummm... there was a point. i forgot it. oh yea, cookiepuss, would you hire me?
