I was not saying there is something "sad" about flying across the world to get some pussy, nor about meeting up with people over the Internet. Merely that that is the only physical analogue to "changing the political world" that you can claim this forum suceeds in that the other one fails.

an internet forum is pretty much a cycle. There is only so much that can be discussed. A lack of originality would equate to the fault of the entire "community" if you will, so therefore you are just as much a part of the problem as anyone else.

Does the stand-up receive entertainment from the crowd? I am here for a number of reasons, such as having friends here, such as being asked specifically to come here and return here in the first place. The board is not a bad impromptu myspace, serving as it does as a message central.

I'm also happy that the vast majority of jokes I make are challenging and out of the norm, even if it means a lot of people don't get them. It also gives me pleasure when someone reads what I say, and looks at something in a totally fresh way because of me. And I like playing games - Tetris blocks aren't particularly interesting on their own, it's how you move them around that makes the magic happen.

The whole purpose of this place is to have fun or be entertained, at least for me.

What can I say, I am charitable.
