I love mustard, but it seems that everyone I know hates it and prefers ketchup. But I hate ketchup!

Yep, mustard beats ketchup anyday. Especially the kind with crushed whole mustard seeds--you know, the brown one. So, how about horseradish?

I think there are a few varieties of whole-grain mustard.

And I'm sure they're all damn fine. But what about this (from the link):
Any mustard which is stored for a long period of time is prone to separation, causing mustard water.
Aaargh!

BAck in the US I used to be able to get this stuff called Maple Mustard, I think it was made by that Annie's company that makes the nice macaroni and cheese as well. I think on the label of the jar it said sommething like "Vermont caviar." Anywho, it was mustard with whole mustard seeds that also had maple syrup in it as well. I know, not a combination you'd normally think would work, but trust me, it did. It was gorgeous stuff, fantastic with a bit of sharp cheddar, really excellent mix of flavours and textures.

OK, I'm hungry now.

I LOVE MUSTARD.

I get laughed at a lot for it. But when mustard is involved I must have a LOT of it.

You know what's good too: when you get a burger, fries and it comes with a pickle on the side. Sometimes the pickle juice gets on the fries, and I always put salt on them, then dip them in mustard. So freagin good.

Don't judge me

i really have SEVEN containers of mustard in my cabinet in case i ever run out. nothing is worse than cooking something and realizing that there is no mustard. i won't even eat it then, depending on what it is.

I like real mustard, but I can't abide by that yellow mustard crap like French's.

mustard is like the healthiest condiment around

all it really contains is mustard seed, salt, vinegar and some spices

so you cant even really hate on Frenches or the like because its pretty basic and essentially good for you

Screw you guys and your Ketchup.

Its tomato sauce goddamn it!

And yes mustard is awesome but not mild american because if you are going to go that soft you may aswell go for some mayonaise. Or better yet dijonaise!
