I went in to cover for the new girl yesterday because I'm still waiting at home, waiting for my security clearance to go through for my new job, and wanted to pick up some more hours.
I wake up at about quarter to one today, and go out to my living room to see that my old boss called me FIFTEEN TIMES and left me two messages. Now, I naturally panicked like hell because I thought I did something wrong, like accidentally thrown away his dental license or burned down the office on my way out somehow. No, he just wanted to see if I could come in and work.
I understand calling a few times, and leaving messages. But 15?!? In FOUR hours? That's like calling me every 15 minutes! It's simple. Call me and leave me a message. Even if I'm out of service, the message reminder thing will beep at me to let me know I have a new message once I get back IN service. It doesn't matter how many times you call me, if I don't pick up it's because I don't hear the goddamn phone.
Okay I better get showered and go in.
