well the drive is from my old computer which is about 5 years old
and the rest of the computer i built about 2 years ago
so no
Ugh, that sucks. The computer they set me up on at work doesn't have a working rom either. Also it's not connected to their network. Also they don't have a spare jump drive for me.
I hate getting files from people.

My Baby Snakes DVD doesn't play in my PS2. It plays in my housemate's, though. Lame as fukk. (n) (n)

the error that the device manager shows is this "Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41)"
i have no idea...i tried downlading updates for stuff for my motherboard online, but none of those things made a difference.

Try uninstalling the optical drive via 'Device Manager' then re-adding it from 'Add New Hardware' in the Control Panel...if the HW isn't found automatically, try to add it manually by finding the manufacturer and model of drive from the list (if it's there).
Turd's firmware update advice is good shit too.

What the hell is a Baby Snakes DVD?? Is it really just about baby snakes or is this some band or something the kids are into?
