this is bad ass innovation--made by Valve, packaged with Half-Life 2: Episode 2. i'd like to see more of this in future first-person shooters.

That looks pretty crazy. But i'm really looking forward to Crysis. if you've seen pictures of Crysis side by a real photograph, you'll know why. Mind blowing.

crysis...hmmm, i saw some screen shots of that sometime ago. if i remember correctly, that was the one about the alien invasion, with the beautiful environments. isn't there a time freeze feature in the game? that would be interesting.
i wish i could play some of these upcoming first person shooters, but my system couldn't handle any of them well enough. that's why i stay with consoles--there's not a need to upgrade, and there are plenty of fun games, but i mostly play role playing games.
anyway, portal has me interested. the ability to shoot portals out of your gun at any walls in your surrounding, and then, in turn, jump through them, is awesome. it's also cool that you could force objects to come out of a portal, and knock over your enemies.

no biggie. it's in the same vein as portal, so it relates to the topic.
those are a couple of the screens that i saw at gamespot's website--breathtaking graphics.

Simply amazing. Though the only thing i would complain -- about if I were to, is the grass and the waves.
