that show is fucking great!
i'm just concerned that no one really knows about it, and thus it will be canceled.
watch it. comedy central.
I watched a foreign film (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0103905/) with that same title a while ago.
Maybe that's irrelevant.

dear jim de la scum:
dog bites man is a show where they act like they're a real news team. the people involved in their hijinks don't know it's a comedy show. so, they pretend there's a news story of a missing girl in brighton, florida. only they fuck up and end up in brighton, colorado. they then make people pretend that they are family of the missing girl or friends, or whatever. so to make it seem like florida, they make the people hold an orange. they have one guy pretend to be a detective on the case, and they give him a donut. they also do auditions for a re-enactment of the kidnapping and make an opera singer sing all of her lines for the reinactment. then they get all pissed at a candelight vigil (where they have 2 endings to the missing girl story) when the girl turns up, alive, because their story is now dead.
good times.
love,
beth
i dunno, i just couldn't get into it. i don't know what's wrong, but i wasn't feeling it for some reason. it's like the office with a splash of upright citizen's brigade (the presence of matt walsh and the pranks), which ought to be a good thing, but eh. maybe i'm burnt out comedies in the style of the office that aren't actually the office.

It felt like they were trying too hard--like they were following a template for comedy and watching the show, I just felt aware of that template. I'm a tough judge of TV humor, though--it's hard to please me in that regard.

love it
just finished watching the latest one for the third time :p
i love it how tillie gets drunk all the time (y) and marty is fucking classic at times. i think kevin is a bit average, he has his moments, but marty and tillie are consistantly funny, and that other guy alan, he's kinda funny in a strange way.
Favourite quotes:
they are talking about how the amount of semen ejaculated in a city would fill 10 hot tubs, Marty: "I wouldn't get in that hot-tub"
Tillie at spring break: "I JUST REFINANCED MY HOUSE AT 4.9% WITH A $20,000 DOWNPAYMENT OVER 15 YEARS TAKE THAT BITCHES WOOOOOOO!!!!"
Tillie: *vomits*
Kevin: Yeah I think we did this at gay camp. Wait let me get a picture of us wasting time.

you forgot to mention that she's yelling that into a microphone before she'll let them wet her shirt for the wet t-shirt contest.
