You might want to read The Man Who Heard Voices. I'm waiting for it to come to the library, but it's getting mean reviews and I love nasty behind the scenes of the movie business books. He let the author follow him around so that there would be a book that was sympathetic to his position, but the book makes him look like a total ass.

wow I'd never heard of this guy until a few weeks ago when I was at a Beck show and he opened for him. I was right front and center in the pit and seeing this guy do what he does had my JAW ON THE FLOOR. Talented does not even begin to describe. Yeah and he does have the vocals to back it up too. I like that you chose that photo because in it, she looks like a gorgeous anyone that you'd see in normal, everyday life. In so many of her other photos, she looks inaccessible, too glamorized--so much so that I think she looks unattractive for looking too fake.

Of all of the posts so far, I think I like mickill's Rachel Weisz the best. I don't have a crush on her, though. If we're talking celebrities, I stand by what I said in my other threads: Johnny Depp (when he doesn't dress weirdly) and Lance Armstrong and this guy I see in Timberland ads, though I can't find his photo.

I don't like guys who look pretty and who are coifed. Give me rough and someone who doesn't use more products or take longer showers than I do. Good looks are a plus, but forget it if a guy is an ass. I'd rather have someone who isn't maybe the best looking guy but if he's humble and sweet and kind and fit/health-aware, then he's got my attention.

Crushes on celebrities -- being that, not a whole lot of us actually hang out with very many of them -- can only really be based on appearance, talent or possibly both. I tend to opt for both. But there's no way that talent alone is going to win me over, considering I really don't know about their persnalities. But I CAN be somewhat sure about their looks.
