This is a thread for ya'll to overcome it.

Of course it's gonna happen to all of us but, in this thread you can make the downfalls of it be the better for yall's of it.

For instance, in my death world. I've got Mark Sandman and Frank Sinatra chillin with me discussing on whether to use jet effect or space guitar effect on a track that's currently in the making. John Bonham and Jimi are currently arguing over who's the most whorish on the guitar or drum solo and Cliff Burton has just acknowledged the fact that he's gonna lay down some bass for all of this shit.

That's right, WW3 is bout to kick off but, we going down in style and in the after life, we gonna jam out..

Come on ya'll. Tell us how your cadavers are going to celebrate your new life.

not that worried about it.

nah dude. It's not worry. It's waiting for it knowing it's a necessatity of life. It's pre-writing your gravestone.

Why is it considered worrying? It's gonna happen so to all of us so, change "worry" to prepare.

we all gonna die. It's a thread about what you'll see or what you want to see when you're gone and in your afterlife.

I'm not even sure if I believe in an after life..because that would be a life...how can you have a after life if your dead, the spirit still lives? i don't know what an after life would be like..if you can make one how you want it or if it's just..

I have every moment now, right now, for everything its worth. No future, no past, just now.

Are you scared of being born? No - because that doesnt exist..just an imaginable temporal shift backwards from right now. Being scared of an imaginable temporal shift forwards seems just as unreasonable to me.

Fear is learned behaviour and you have to be out of the right now to have it. Right now is where its at, nothing else exists.

yah, the spirit lives for how long it is capable to live. i can't imagine a person like hitler having a long afterlife, 'cause he was pretty teared up inside. that's my theory.

by the way... you, if anyone here, should know some stuff about spirits, rawr. :p

back to the thread idea tho'... i guess i'd just want to be with my family and buddies, like now. and play bass with paul simonon.

...when all these people are dead. :p

This is just a failed choose your own destiny drunken thread. I'm not the greatest author/poster under the influence.

I do have a friend who's been pronounced clinicly dead on 3 seperate occasions because he has some massive seizures. He said he remembers stuff but he can't describe it and the whole "white light" is just a fable because he's never seen it.

A big reason that he can't explain what he's seen is because the longest he's been dead was 6 seconds.

That's kinda scary. I still don't know what happend to me 7? years ago, but I remember I was in the hospital sleeping, dreaming of these soft colorful blurs....one was 'god' and the other one was the 'devil'...they didnt have any apperance though and they where fighting. I didn't think much of it when I awoke but apparently that same day, while I was sleeping I was having a really bad asthma attack and the doctors/nurses where trying to save me from dying and trying to get me to breath. Kind of weird how I was dreaming of god at the same time that was happening...

...^^If that is true my afterlife is going to be full of sleep, fatty foods, and lots of fluffy pillows. I can't wait until I can rest.

It's true, but I still don't know if it was just some weird cowincidence or if it really was the real thing.

Whan I was younger, I used to think that God and Satan had a bet going about human beings. Kinda like our lives were monday night football. That is how I explained the whole book of Job to myself. Kinda silly huh?

I don't fear being dead, it's the way I die that I'm a little weary about

I agree I do not want to die in the following manners:
1. Drown
2. In a fire
3. In a seedy motel room
4. During my favorite show (Blade the Series)
5. Anywhere where my kids would have to watch my death.

No. 3 was a joke.

Why do people always think famous people are going to want to hang out with them in the after life? Take stock of the chumps you have in your life now people cus they're the same assholes you're stuck with when you die too...

i don't think i'm going to get really afraid of death until i get close to it. currently i'm not afraid of it, i'm more philosophical about it than anything else. i think it'd be cool to finally know what happens when you die. the last frontier for every living individual.

but it's easy to be rational about it when you're so far from it. if i get sick or drafted or hit by a car, i bet i'd start worrying a little more.

my airplane ride was quite turbulent this morning, and on more than one occaision i looked out the window, at 30,000 feet and said, it's a good day to die.

makes landing so much sweeter.

Wrong! Once I'm dead everyone will realize how cool I was, and take special time out of their eternal schedule to hang/jam with me.
