I had the pleasure of witnessing MMM's set yesterday at Lollapalooza - it was incredible! Perry Ferrell introduced him as the best DJ on the planet, and MMM proceeded to prove that for two hours straight. The crowd was really into it and it was so much fun!

If you have the opportunity to see MMM live YOU SHOULD GO!

Did you notice if he used traditional vinyl or if he had it wired through a laptop sorta thing? When he played here a few months ago he had some vinyl that was connected to some laptop computer program. So he didn't have to switch any vinyl.

He did not have traditional vinyl - he had two turntables, each with a single piece of vinyl for scratching (very thin and bendable), and it was wired through a mac laptop. He also had some sort of small mixer board and he did use some CD's, but not a lot. It took him just a few minutes to put the gear together. Obviously, he's a pro.
