I saw Spank Rock opening for KRS-One here (Amsterdam). I wasn't really impressed and neither was the rest of the audience. Some beats were nice though.

The only opening act that I remembering actually making an impact was Muse opening for Live before Muse's first single was even released.

There was another (dutch) opening act, and he ripped the stage, so I don't think that the audience just didn't want to like it.

I think the problem was that they went on too long with the tracks, they would just let the beat go on and the rapper would improvise and dance to it. Most tracks they did felt like 10 minutes :p

On record they sound better, but I don't really like it.
