I haven't really formed an opinion on this (http://www.spinemagazine.com/music/july/thegame/oneblood.mp3) yet. At least Dre's trying something different. Game's still kind of a clown, though.

Dre sounds like he's trying to sound like every other producer out there.
And Game... "And you new niggas ain't shit but new niggas."
Really brings the lyrical heat, doesn't he?
And the vocal sample reminds me of that Del track off of Handsome Boy Modeling School.

Yeah, that's Junior Reid isn't it?
Dre shouldn't sample anymore. This beat is awful.

I was wrong about the Dre beat actually. Some new jack produced it.

And Masta Killa off of The W. And yes Game is kind of clown, espcially with the tatto of a butterfly on his cheek (which he later covered up with an LA tat)

The production isn't even bad. It's nothing stellar, but what makes it "awful" or "poor" exactly?
And truth be told, I listen to The Documentary a lot more than I listen to No Said Date.
And yeah, Game's still a clown.

ahh...the "new" rap formula.
some "singy singy" sample in the backround.
claps instead of snares.
verse 1 - talk about record sales
verse 2 - talk about how many clips you got, you shot, and got shot.
verse 3- talk about your materialistic gains (possibly how many chicks you fucked), then finish with a line about being great and taking over.
repeat 12 times, add 7 skits, and you got a hit record.
the song ain't too bad though...

The saddest thing is that there will people who will not know that RZA and the Wu originally did this song....welcome to todays rap fan

actually even though its called "doctor's advocate" dr.dre didnt do much production for the game's new album, infact in might not even be on it,,, and the album might not be released on the aftermath label... 50 had some influence on that.

where'd you hear that?
on hot 97........ i dunno if its true or not
on another note,,, considering most of today's most popular rappers really can't rap, i think game is one of the better gangsta rappers. 360 degreez is my favorite track from him.

cant say I blame him. Would you want to line the pockets of 50 if you were him?
Im sure Dre will give his sophmore album the old patented "Dre produces three or four beats at the very most" treatment.

I'm confused. You guys say Masta Killa already did a song like this on "The W". The only song I know remotely like this on that record is "Jah World", the last track, with Ghostface and RZA, no Masta Killa.
But even then, the only similarity I hear is the sample.

I guess that's it for Game's (http://xxlmag.com/online/?p=3573) mediocre rap career.

I bet he'll just diss every single artist affilated with Dre/Aftermath for 30 minutes, at which point Raekwon will be forced to hit up Ghost to see if he still has that recorder he uses for the "Clyde Smith" skits.
the song is ok, though the best use of the sample is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNNHl8HK90o
