I'm a Design Nerd, so...I have discussions about this sort of thing all the time.
I own a Prius, right - but electric cars won't become the desireable mainstream thing until they can outperform a gas-engine car.

It's not that far away, glad to see someone finally got the balls to make one.

I'm thinking of a Camry Hybrid myself, a bit more in my range. But seems Toyota had plans for a similar vehicle but as a Gas/Electric Hybrid called the Alessandro Volta. http://www.toyota.com/vehicles/future/volta.html

I just recomended that my boss (money manager/stock broker) take a look at this company in terms of it possibly being a good investment. he said...oh...I guess...they just haven't come up with anything good in terms of electric cars. I said I know...this one appears to be different. he kinda blew me off.

he's a fucking moron. So now I hope these cars really blow up the market so he can say..gee my assistant told me to look at this company a year ago and I didn't.:rolleyes: of course at 80k a pop, it's not really going to blow up the market until they come out with an affordable sedan.
