i'll never get over how fans think the band actually owes them something and how people, like that caller, are honestly upset that the band might sing something about the political climate in their songs instead of singing about beer and girls. the band really cant win: rap about politics and upset people, no longer rapping about beer, fast food, and girls and upset people.

its always the same mentality of "i dont want to hear celebrities talk about politics". unless of course they're running for governor of california, then suddenly that goes out the window.

Anyway, ggirlballa posted a different interview from a San Diego station. I do not know if a podcast of the Philly show is available from WYSP. And the WYSP show is where we got the info posted at the beginning of this thread.

That was a funny interview. And while I agree with the guy at the end, I thought telling them that was pointless, as the BBoys have already made their political stance time and time again. There's nothing wrong with stating your opinion on an album in general - some of you, I find, have trouble expressing your opinions on BBoys albums truthfully. I believe some of you are blinded by your fandom.

It's okay to think less of a new endeavor of theirs - there's no need to think any less of them as a group because of that. They'll always be legends in my eyes, no matter how good or bad their latest efforts end up.

I'm curious if that new album in 18 months claim is true, and the Professor Booty topic. Did someone ask them if they are in good terms with MC Serch & Pete Nice now?

i totally agree. any one topic can get annoying. i try to write different songs of all different types to keep it new. beasties are due to drop a bomb. i just wanna get a verse on the album. i hope they don't get timbaland and shitty pop producers though.
