i just wanted to share this because i love you all, and this board has somehow been a big part of my life...though i dont know why, or how.
but i am being serious here, i honestly believe that it is our generation that will see what has been declared by many civilizations past, as the end times for humanity, and by many more, as the rebirth and cleansing of civilization.
and so, to the archaic revival, i shed smiles and affection, hoping that in that in the end we are able to save something, and learn something, so that in the future, we can rediscover what it is to be human, to be alive in the universe and to feel the energy and vibrance of creation.

what do you do, when theres nothing that you can do but watch as it is too late. so much death and destruction, the casualties of civilization...who are we to think that we are the apex of being. the vital components which support the delicate balance that is life are dying, are being destroyed. blindly we push forward on ideals long exhausted, diffused we lay powerless, prey to our own constructs of reality.
what will happen when the ocean currents shut down? when the ice caps melt? when the amazon and other rainforests turn to desert? there is only one thing clear about the future- that things will be much much different than we have ever known them to be. and that our survival, and that of the planet which sustains us, are in serious question.
so how long will these games we play go on? how much longer will it be until everything is changed. i fear that it will be catastrophic, and my stomach tightens when i think of what that means in terms of suffering, for not only our human selves, but for the life which has grown and flourished on our celestial island.
But i know within myself, and this offsets this gut-wrenching feeling, that no government or politician will save us. i believe in the scientists who say that it may already be too late. and from within, i feel a sense of reassurance, that i will be okay, that our human potential will save many. or, at the very least, in the great moment before our "end" i will catch a glimpse, and feel within and beyond myself, that which i dream-
people coming together, evil overthrown, ignored, love and peace embraced, compassion and unity alive.
and if we do get through this mess that is so inevitable, this global political and environmental overhaul...i know that things will be different, and that this anarchy, if given the chance, will prevail, as we reorganize as human beings, and rediscover what it means to be alive...
