to the tune of many tens of thousands of dollars.
yes, i have a good job, but it still sucks alot.

to make matters worse, this is that 'dream house' i fucking bought with my wife. at least I'm not paying double house payments anymore.

I sold the house, but at a decent loss since the market's down in Mass. Some guy from Georgia got a sweet deal on my Barbie Dream House.

sorry for dumping. I think that's why I've been chain-smoking this message board like a doorknob all evening. I am cranky about this debt thing.

debt fucking sucks. expecially when you have nothing to show for it. and when it's kind of out of your control. (n)

I'm not from Mass. I was gonna move to Attleboro, but I decided to stay in RI instead, it's cheaper and it's a goddamn headache to move.

Wait you're married? For some reason I thought you were my age.

Either way, congrats on the move. Debt sucks, I've got my fair share of student loans. The bank owns my soul for another 10 years, but at least I have my bachelor's, right? ...right? :(

well...at least your going into debt for something you will NEED and something that you will have in your possession after paying it off.

eh, that's not proper debt. i mean, it is debt, but it's not as if you took the money and went on holiday, is it? you bought a house. 99% of people do not have the money to buy a freakin' house straight up. it was essential, so i wouldn't worry about it.

i don't worry about my student loans. it had to be done. there was no other way, and i won't be harassed or charged for not doing any repayments. they just come off my paycheck once i start earning over x amount (which aint gonna be anytime soon!). i do worry about my overdraft, which is much smaller than my full student debt (about £13,000 = $24,000, overdraft is £1,800 = $3,323) because it was just used to buy crap, and i feel bad for it. i would much like to start and zero and, you know, earn. not be in negative all the time.

plus, i think my student debt gets written off after 25 years! yahoo! actually, i think they might have cracked down on that. and also the loophole that if you left the country for 3 years it would be wiped off. ha! great.
