Another in the many quick replies I can add to those who ask, "Why do you oppose George W Bush so Much?" I can now add to the litany of answers this.
In five and a half years in office, President George W. Bush has lodged more "signing statements" — or challenges to provisions of laws passed by Congress — than all 42 previous presidents combined.
From the July 26th, 2006 Seattle Times Ed/Op page another of the endless reasons we are getting a fucking,
A president, not a king (http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/editorialsopinion/2003151760_signed26.html)

Good for Specter. Its imporant to lay down the seperations of the branches. If the Dems did it, it would just be for political gain (which is probably true) vs. having someone in his own party who actually values the idea of government more than his or her party.
This government

Bush has challenged about 750 statutes, allowing him to revise, interpret or disregard laws, citing national security and constitutional concerns.
Forty-two other presidents combined objected to 600 provisions of new laws.
WTF? Who are these idiots who voted for this guy. Why do we have to wait any longer to replace him?
I saw a guy about 60+ years old going down I-5 today in a Cadillac with a bumpersticker that read, "I Never Thought I Would Miss Nixon"

It's only you Americans that can do something.
I have been saying for a long time that a civil war is brewing over there. It seems that everyday, there is something else that Bush and his crime family has done to further his own ends.
I see more and more Americans saying that he can't possibly be allowed to get away with all of this, yet there seems to be no-one able to call him out. No-one that he is obliged to answer to.
He was "elected" to serve the people but he acts like you serve him. Where do your taxes go? Social security and welfare has been slashed. Healthcare slashed. Military spending increased. Aid to Israel increased.
Bush does not serve America. He serves himself, his business buddies and Israel.
America needs to take itself back. Take Bush / Cheney / Rove etc etc to task.
PRETTY MUCH THE WHOLE WORLD IS WILLING THE CITIZENS OF AMERICA TO MAKE A STAND. THE WHOLE WORLD IS SCARED OF WHAT BUSH IS TRYING TO DO. THE WHOLE WORLD SEE'S BUSH AS THE GREATEST THREAT TO HUMANITY EVER. THE WHOLE WORLD EXCEPT THE AMERICAN MEDIA CAN SEE WHAT IS GOING ON. BUSH BLASTS CHINA FOR IT'S MEDIA AND INTERNET CENSORSHIP BUT HE IS A HIPOCRIT.
All of you need to get a sh*tload of stickers made up with web addresses of independent online news sites and go out plastering them around your towns and cities. People that might not normally be inclined to go to those sites will have thier curiosity piqued and have a look just to see what the fuss is about. Even if only 5% of those that have a look stay on the site for a serious reading session, they will go tell thier work mates and family about what they are reading and word spreads.
For ufcks sake - NOW IS THE TIME. Bush went into Iraq on a lie. The situation in Lebanon is a lie to create a reason to after Iran and Syria. If all average Americans drag thier heels and hope someone else does it, as with Iraq, the elections and pretty much everything else in the last 6 years, then he will get away with everything - leaving a mess for the next president ( if they are democrat - which won't happen as they already know who they are going to rig the election for ).

Well said and well intended... Unfortunately too many Americans are too caught up in the events and maturations of their every day lives to be even informed of what Governor Bush is doing. It's a sad state and one that won't change until the bombs our falling on our doorsteps and the people of this country wonder where it all went wrong, how could it have happened, wasn't anyone looking out for us?
