How about them sexy drinkin' and smokin' sports casters Dan and Hank?
Dan: How are your pork ribs?
Hank: Not that great.
Dan: (pause) I know.
hee hee
Did we ever get to the bottom of that really important question? Is it grilling or is it Bar-B-Que'ing?
Did you guys wait at the end and see the spat? OMG, I hoped and prayed for Boys Gone Wild and I got it!!!!!!!!!
(ok, now really off to watch more of this ish.)
Oh, and CONGRATS JAMIE! (y)

I just love how Jerome is so confident all the way through and at the end he lost. Jamie was the one that didn't act all that confident but ended up winning, haha! So I guess that's like a moral. And he's like "I think it was the hat". :D
The sports talk thing with Cey and Adam was hilarious too. I cracked up when Cey's like "Things are heating up" and they pointed at eachother like it was some inside joke. Yeah I was waiting for it to go back to the menu and after a while I was like "wtf?!" but I'm glad I waited. Who's this Danny kid Hank forgot to pick up JEESH, I love how he just went off. That scared the fuck outta me! (y)
By the way, it did make me hungry watchin it.

I've said this in three threads, but I'ma say it again. Thanks to Adrock for reppin' the white wine. I like a fine blush with navy beans.

So whadda think? Grillin' or BBQin'? Dry rub or tangy sauce? Smoker or gas grill? Hickory or oak? Asparagus or mixed vegetables?
Are those unfiltered Luck Strikes Adrock's smokin'? Bad, bad boy.

Who's this Danny kid Hank forgot to pick up
Well it appeared to me that since thee sports caster's name was Dan, and clearly reppin' the 70s where naming your child after yourself was quite popular, that he could've been talking about his son, Danny. I'd prolly go off on someone if they didn't pick my kid up from school if they said they were going to.
Campari *shakes head* wait.... Iced Tea?! What was up with that?

Ima go with wet hickory on the grill, dry rub, aspargus and half and half sweet tea. I'd leave the tobacco outta my pipe.

I will throw my 2 cents in on this matter since I'm the grillin'/bbq king in my neighborhood.
If you are using a dry rub or you let your meat marinate and cook as is with out using a sauce during the heating process, it is considered grilling. If you add a sauce while cooking, it is considered bbq ing.

How about the seasoning? What wood would you do? Veggies or seconds on ribs?

I prefer a rub before grilling.
Of course you do. ;)
I, myself, prefer a cocktail before the actual grilling/eating process.

Do you mean before "the eating process" or "a eating process"?

Uhhhhhhhhhh I'm just saying a nice pre-dinner cocktail is a good thing. That's all. Maybe a glass of wine, perhaps some sangria or a mojito on a hot summer evening.

im defianetly a fan of dry rub for steaks and beef and marinades for chicken. even if you're just gonna use plain old "bbq" sause it tastes better to let it sit over nite. dry rub all the way on steaks, simple salt & pepper and a little garlic is just fine, its always fun to experimnt too!(y)

I think the differance between BBQ and Grilling is time and heat....
BBQ = Indirect heat and lots of time to cook/ smoke....
Grilling = Direct heat and a short amount of time to cook.....

I'll repeat that I love the Century 21 blazers. I haven't seen those in years. And I'd like to repeat what I said in another thread about Jamie because I want to:
Jamie had a difficult job on the tour because he was the face of the band -- the guy all the craziest of fans met when we were at our worst (waiting in line in the hot sun or pouring rain). He was just the nicest guy they could have gotten to interact with us and get us to do stupid things on camera. He also did a killer job trying to keep up with the Beasties during the show on his action cam. And he was on top of the tour blog -- that setlist was up before I ever got back from a concert. Nice to see him get some time in front of the camera. (y)

But after watching the BBQ, Jamie in particular did strike me as being a very warm, sincere, and kind-hearted kind of a person. Something in his smile and demeanor. Nice that he won with that aggregated score. :)
I rub my meat with various oils and lotions.

Is MCA still a vegetarian? Was that some meat I saw him eating during the BBQ show?
And where was AdRock during the BBQ? Since he wasn't there, I guess they let him play the sportscaster role (hilarious)!!! :D
