Out of all the Toronto appearences/interviews, this is the one you want ripped and put on the hub!

Interview is about 30 mins long and quite good. They speak to one of the camera operators over the phone, answer some decent audience questions, and yauch states that they have been playing their instruments again..

Yes. It was allright. Te audience was packed just for them, pretty crazy. Lol'ing at Fred too.

i taped it on my dvd recorder. The interview was excellent. Grenades on a triple triple yo! The muchondemand one was really shit. fuckin hilary duff fans everywhere. This one actually had good questions and shit and the boys def seemed more into it. fuckin Fred, answering over the boys, that was hilarious.

PS: they also apologized to Ottawa for spelling their name wrong on the dvd, OTTOWA

oh, and the guy host of MTV Live doesnt know shit, cause he refered the MSG show as the last date of their Challah at your boy tour, like on the back of the dvd.... almost just as bad as the chic from WB saying the new album is droppin soon.

One thing I forgot to mention, the interview takes place in an old theatre where the boys one played, which has since been converted to an MTV studio.

Glad someone else saw it..

whoa seriously! lucky man.

I got excited when I heard the thread was beastie boys, you don't see a band with their own thread on that show, usually a band will come, get some airtime, but they'll focus on something else. neato.

I was so jealous of anyone on the pod for that interview. I was way up in the balcony with the boys backs to me so I was bawling. BUT!!! Anytime, they turned around to like see someone asking a question behind them, I was just so blissed out that they were really there. And then meeting them after the fact outside MTV was unreal. I shook Adrock's hand and he kinda laughed and said "How're you doin?" because I think I looked like I might explode with joy. I was like ".....Good.....you're awesome" But he was already gone at that point. I was like in a fucking daze.

I luckily managed to catch a rerun. I would have posted here but I didn't know it was on until it was on and I'm in PST so it would be too late for most people. It was on CTV saturday at like 4. It's kind of funny that they mock their fans a little bit, but I imagine if they mocked me I'd be all offended because I respect them so much.

I saw them on MTV Canada, it was pretty cool. MCA said he listens to some of the Beastie re-mixes that are made, I think they all do. Can't wait to hear their new shit.
