Training Day

No not the movie, I'm stuck in hell today because it's a Training Day at work. So all day long I either have read stupid briefings on line or attend various seminars. Oh yeah and I have a CRP refresher this afternoon. God help me. Someone please entertain me!

I have to do Red Cross re-certification soon--including first aid and CPR--and then I have to do some sort of two-day training thing and I'm not looking forward to any of it. A friend of mine said that I should try to have some fun getting over on Annie (CPR doll) but I think most Annies are now just heads or maybe parts of the upper part of a torso so that's no good.

Actually the CPR class turned out to be the best part of the work day. There were a lot of no-shows so it was just me and this other dude in the class. Well the instructor was this really cute girl. She had like caramel colored skin, deep dimples, and her eyes looked like two pieces of freshly polished amber. Anyway she and I pretty much turned the class into a 3 hour flirt session so that was nice. I didn’t ask her out though cus I’m leaving in a month and you know how that goes.

Oh and you’re right they don’t have the sweet Annie dolls anymore. We worked with these white heads with partial blue torsos. I found them to be a bit creepy. Oh well at least I’m full up again on CPR and the AED although I hope to never have to use that thing.
