All flights out of there for troops at the end of their deployment are canceled, while the military tries to figure out how to make Baghdad safe.
This doesn't sound like a stop loss order but rather a "We're just not going to let you leave" attitude. The soldiers are now being held captive to this war even if they have served their tours and were on their way home.
I can't see this winning any hearts and minds from the military, families, and veterans towards this administration. Even though it is a voluntary military, there should be some form of checks and balances to keep the military ready and refreshed. They are forcing soldiers to stay; soldiers who are battle worn, psychologically wasted, and want a respite from this war. Nothing good will come from this.
