i'm a big fan of instrumental tunes, and was hoping to find out about some more tracks that would fit this bill that i could check out

The New Deal is an electronic act, with a dj, a drummer and bassist.
Out Hud isn't strickly instrumental, but more often than not, and are quality
Broken Social Scene have some fantastic instrumental tracks, try the album You Forgot It in The People
and sigur ros, before anyone else brings them up, is sweet, but more ambient than anything...not that there's anything wrong with that.

an electronic artist that i like is ricardo villalobos. he's got a bunch of albums but "achso" is my favorite.

That's on my high school playlist. :p
I also have a bad 70s playlist that includes Popcorn, Tubular Bells, Dueling Banjos.
I love instrumentals but mine are mostly lounge-y sounding stuff.
One of my favorite non lounge-y instrumentals is Stevie Ray Vaughan's Riveria Paradise. That song takes me to a special place.

not sure if ive seen that one yet. i saw one recently on tv where some lady is putting stuff on her refriferator and it falls off, ghostwriter is the name of the song on that one.

thanks for the link. yeah, i only have his solo albums, now that ive heard that ill have to go check out the other ones, ill probly pick up Magnificent City and the Instr. album. sounds good, thanks again.

i'm not really looking for any style in particular really. so whatever you have in mind is good enough
