for the "little things."

I'll go first. I can really, really appreciate the greatness of a decent subwoofer.

It makes everything so much better. :o

i was just thinking about this... i appreciate so incredibly much the fact that i can get home stressed out and tired from work, click on a few buttons, and read a message from someone that makes you forget about it all.

email, i appreciate email.

phones, i also appreciate phones.

cellulars, i also heavily appreciate cellulars.

internet, i especially appreciate internet.

It always makes my day whenever I get a smile or kind words from a complete stranger. Gives me hope for the planet.

people that do what they should (but dont have to) do...not letting anyone ever end up eating alone during lunch break at work, offering a casual conversation and asking the new people how everythings going, trying to get along with someone you dont neccesarily have to.

theres nothing i hate more than eating alone when im not at home, and up till now, at work, i still havent. even if its an uncomfortable lunch with someone you dont know as well and dont really click, i prefer it to be sitting there alone in a strange room.

i'd like to express my appreciation for myself. For having the knowledge and "common sense" to stay out of the freakin sun while others are increasing their chances of having cancer:)

I appreciate girls with pretty eyes and nice smiles that work in customer service jobs...sometimes those brief interactions with a girl like that can make your day.

lopp for that: :o

I thought of this thread on the walk in. I saw this slightly down-and-out guy and as he was walking toward me, he stopped walking and waited for me to meet up with him and then he just talked to me and afterwards, he reached over and gave me the biggest, most heartfelt hug I've felt in eons and I thought of this thread and how a little thing like a talk and a hug can be huge. Honest to God about it reminding me of the thread and I nearly said so--hey, this and you remind me of this thread on the Beasties board--but I think he'd think immediately that I was crazy and that maybe he shouldn't have hugged me at all. :)
