Okay, so, it's about 100+ here in Pennsylvania...
I think I almost passed out before. I fell asleep downstairs and after coming up the stairs to use the bathroom, my sight got all blurry and I felt as if I was a) going to puke or b) shit myself. I felt dizzy too (of course), and then I couldn't hear anything except for a "bzzzzzz" in my ears. That's when I lost all control (like, paralyzed almost) and flopped on to my bedroom floor.
I feel okay, now. Just real shaky and weak. I've been drinking water all day, cooling off in the shower, whatever to beat the heat, but..
What the fuck just happened
Heat exhaustion, the most common heat-related illness, involves mild-to-moderate dysfunction of temperature control associated with elevated ambient temperatures and/or strenuous exercise resulting in dehydration and salt depletion. It may rapidly progress to heatstroke when the body's thermoregulatory mechanisms become overwhelmed and fail. Heatstroke is extreme hyperthermia, typically above 100.4°F (40°C), associated with a systemic inflammatory response, which leads to end-organ damage with universal involvement of the CNS.
Heatstroke traditionally is divided into exertional and classic varieties, which are defined by the underlying etiology but are clinically indistinguishable. Exertional heatstroke typically occurs over hours in younger athletic patients who exercise at elevated temperatures for a sufficient period of time to cause the rate of heat production to exceed the capacity of the body to dissipate heat. Classic heatstroke more commonly develops during heat waves when air temperatures exceed 102.5°F (39.2°C) for 3 or more consecutive days in older or debilitated patients who are unable to avoid extreme environmental conditions. In both cases, thermoregulatory mechanisms fail if the stress becomes too great, which results in accelerated hyperthermia with an increased expression of heat shock proteins, an exaggerated acute-phase response, and end-organ dysfunction.

...I'm taking refuge in the public library right now.
But this morning before it got too hot I did a massive cleaning job in the apartment. Bathroom + living room + shampoosed the carpet.

A to the Z, sometimes I worry about you. You take the bus and take refuge in the public library. Do you realize that the next step could be showering at the YMCA?

What're you talking about? I'm not homeless any time soon. I don't think. The job I have right now is the best-paying job I've had in my life, and I'm shucking off old debt like crazy.
It's too expensive for me to have a car -- why do that when I get transportation for $122.50 a month flat? If I had a kid or something, yeah, I'd get a car, but for a single guy who's in relatively good shape, it's silly.

Hot as witches titty?
I have heard---it is as cold as a witches tit in a brass bra laying face down in the snow.
