Between 5:30-7:00am, the trailer for this movie plays during every commercial break of ESPN's Sportscenter. When it first started to air, I always seemed to look up at the TV during that bit where he's autographing the baby's bald head and for a long time, I thought that was a real Nascar autograph-signing clip and it would make me thank God that I don't know the difference between NASCAR & Formula One.

I'll see this movie because WF movies are their own breed of humor, but I'm more looking forward to a November date with Borat.

word. i don't even find anything in the trailers funny.

he is much better when he doesn't have to carry a movie by himself...except for anchorman. he done good there.

although im a bit curious about Stranger Than Fiction.

I have not yet seen Nacho Libre but have not heard good things. My current priority list for movies currently out is as follows, should I forget Nacho altogether?

the product placement in talladega nights was out of fucking control. if you weren't looking at a logo, some brand-name was dropped in the dialogue. now i know nascar is all about logos and sponsorships, and i know that they made it seem like it was just part of the joke, but i think it wasn't primarily done for the comedy. terrible movie.

go see super ex girlfriend - hill-fucking-arious.

i reluctantly went, fittingly, with my ex girlfriend and was surprised. it actually was funny. like i laughed from my gut funny - i didnt expect that. what?

I saw TN on Friday and I laughed at the knife-in-the-leg scene and the related outtakes, and I liked one of the pit crew guy's reactions to the jazz playing on the juke bix. (He said something like, "I want this music out of my head.") Nearly everything else was fairly so-so. The scenes with the kids were annoying and unfunny and those scenes generally fell flat (save for one of the comments that the one kid made at the dinner table that made my audience lose it for maybe 30 seconds).

it was much better then Miami Vice witch just sucked.

it was ok , should have been better .... they pushed the gay crap a little too much.Was that one scene supposed to be shocky and funny? If so, it fell a little bit. Maybe people are accepting things more or maybe we see that there isn't necessarily humor in it or maybe we've just seen that sort of spoof over and over, but in my theater (which was filled mostly with people in the 18-30 demographic) there was some laughter but I think mostly, people just watched and it maybe felt a little voyeuristic-porny. :o
