That's what I figure after buying the last two Helmet c.d.s.

I bought Size Matters when it was first released. Didn't really like it after the first listening and figured it would eventually grow on me. It didn't, I tried and it's only been listened to 5 times.

I just got Monochrome today and the first 4 songs are just fucking garbage. Page is just yelling. The guitaring is so simple and repetitive. The c.d. starts to pick up on the 5th song but it's still not that great. Page's yelling used to be cool but now it's just too harsh.

It's time for me to face it. They haven't put out a decent c.d. since Betty.

The loss of the $20 isn't really my concern. I'll keep the c.d.s and they'll be added to my rarely listened to stack.

I was excited when I heard that Frank Bello would be playing bass as well as John Tempesta on drums and Chris Traynor on guitar.

I was thinking that with this new lineup of musicians, there'd be more innovation but the music is just bland.

This is one of the bands that I had expectations for and wished that I could continue listening to during every new album that's produced but, I'm gonna have to sweep them under a rug.
