Dear Staff -

My name is David McWane. I released the 'Giant Rock N Roll Swindle', an album of music reflecting Shepard Fairy's art - OBEY GIANT. I included a track from BS2000; MCA should know all about this.

I am writing to you, because I am in search of contacting one or all of the B.B..

The Thrash/Dub group I am in 'BIG D AND THE KIDS TABLE' is finishing up writing our new record which looks to be our most succesful release and we're looking for poducers. We feel that with our style of thrash and dub, it would be great to work with one of the B.B..

Then, after hearing that Ad Rock was working with Bad Brains, I decided it was time to get this idea happening.

As of right now Joe Giddleman of the Might Might Bostones is interested in producing some of our tunes and Tim Armstrong from Rancid has mentioned some interest in working together, but that would probably be a different record.

All in all the band would like more than anything to send our music and style to Ad Rock, Mike D or MCA to see if any one of them is intersted in producing a band such as us.

I don't think the Admins have the ability - if that's the right word - to let the band know about this sort of thing. I could be wrong though.

Have you tried posting a note to them on their messageboard?

If that doesn't work, try 718-498-1043...ask for Janice.

And finally, I know at one time they had an elaborate smoke signal communication center.

even though this is the official Beastie Boys website it isn't a garanteed way to contacting them. (theres a VERY slim chance on that, other people have tried & failed)

oh & don't call Janice unless u want the best in men's clothing
