"I'm just one of those faces."

Pretty soon we'll all be, John.

That could be great. I hope that it won't treat Lennon like a saint. A lot of the things he did and said were just plain stupid. That's what makes him more interesting -- he was just a human being who happened to have a platform at a crazy time.

I want to see the electric car movie.

he used to beat the everloving shit out of his mistress when him and Yoko split in the mid 70s

may pang? i'm not sure thats accurate. when he split with yoko he was on a tremendous drinking/drug binge. he did a lot of fucked up shit then, so its possible - but it sounds iffy. he was human

He hit the first wife too.

And he appeared in public with a feminine protection product on his head.

Im human, but Ive never smacked a girl before. Dont get me wrong, John Lennon is the man but like Documad said I think this will make for a much better documentary if its raw and shows both sides of him rather than making him out to be some kind of musical Ghandi.

And I know that he was against the war. But it's not like there were loads of other rock stars who were supporting the war at the time. The bed-in was embarrassing and didn't do anything to end the war any sooner.

What's really interesting to me is that Nixon THOUGHT Lennon was a threat and that the US government wasted a lot of time and money dealing with a drugged up rock star and his crazy wife. That takes some big-time paranoia and distorted thinking on the part of some otherwise intelligent politicians. That's an interesting subject for a documentary.

also interesting is the timeline of Mark David Chapman prior to the murder, he spent some time in Chicago which is completely unaccounted for.

That does look very interesting. I wonder if they'd imply that the murder of John Lennon is CIA-related...

Watch the Dick Cavett Show interviews with them. She seems like there's a piece or two missing, but nothing too serious. I think she was just wilfully naive.
