It has to be done. They've been putting out very helpfull tabs along with an instructional dvd for you to watch the technique as you're reading the tabs.

This month's session is learning blues and blues rock guitar and it teaches the likes of Eric Clapton, Duane Allman, Jimi Hendrix, Albert King, T-Bone Walker and many other influential guitarists.

The dvd is very easy to follow too because it starts with a slow downed version of the lesson first and has one portion showing the picking and the other showing the fretting and after that, it shows the real time version.

I just wanted to share my appreciation with the fellow musicians here because it's beneficial to both beginners and advanced for improvements.

Do they have instructional dvds?

Guitar World has the magazine and a side issue of nothing but tabs and the dvd.

I posted this in your one guitar related thread. If you missed it, here (http://guitar.about.com/) it is again.

It's accurate and very helpfull and teaches everything needed to know about guitar from just picking it up to advanced.
