This board has been around for years. My grandfather used to post here when he was just a we lad. This website is secretley ran by Hornblower. Not that many people know that. You get a whole, special, beastie memo when you reach the 5 year mark.
Minton is really like, 60 years old. He's oldschool. He just looks really really good for his age. If you notice, most people involved with the Beastie's normally do. Thier like the fountian of youth.

Everyone knows when he's online. Whatever thread he is on ends up being 1000000 pages. He didnt leave cause of me ya fool, he posted the msg, i saw the green light saying that he's online, and he went offline straight away before I even posted.

Adam Yauch is the member of a band. He isn't a god. If he feels like making a post every once in the while, that's cool, but with obsessive people like laurie here talking about dreams they've had about him or speculating on his favourite shampoo, toilet paper, et cetera, it's a wonder he isn't too scared to come here at all.

It's an invasion of privacy, and laurie is a dick if he doesn't realise it.

All Im trying to say is that I dont think he wants people to know he's online, hence the reason he never has his light on, and is set so he doesnt show up on the Who's online thingamabober.
Im just saying unless he's the type to enjoy the praise and attention (which, he doesnt seem the type honestley - although lord knows, he is a Leo, and I speak from Leo exsperiance, we do love us some spotlight.)
But Imagine how you'd feel if everytime you signed online someone posted a "OMG LOOK THIER ON!" thread. you'd be scared as hell. Exspecially if everyone was drawn to the area you were posting in, and watching your every move. It cant be all it's cracked up to be.

It's a Beastie Boys messageboard with Beastie Boys fans. If a Beastie Boy starts posting of course some people are going to get a little excited. I don't think he's freaked out at all...Yauch more than anyone has been very complimentary of the fans over the last few years. Sure, I doubt that he has the time to respond to swarms of comments and messages, but I don't think people getting excited is going to stop him posting every once in awhile.
