Are the Grand Royal magazines worth the money?

I'm sure everyone will say yes but I just wanted to know if they are humorous and fun to read and generally how much I should be willing to pay, they cost an arm and a leg on Ebay. :(

Yeah it would be nice, especially since the prices for the mags with some of the inserts are crazy but it will never happen because they sold off the rights to Grand Royal.

yes they really are worth the money. they're still funny to bust out and read every now and again.

I still have a few of special newspapers they handed out at Lollapalooza oh, oh so many years ago. that thing is funny as hell too. boy, i bet that thing is worth a mint now.

The Beasties should branch out like they did for Clerks and Clerks 2, and make comic books. I'd draw them! That or you could take all the comics from the photo section and make Beastie book magic.

I want a copy of GRM. :( If anyones looking to toss one I'll take it! That or we can trade, you can have my copy of Wired! or Rolling Stone...??

They only have a few on Ebay at any given time and they almost always go for over $20 or $30 if they have the inserts, all the issues are rare but number 2 seems to be the most common one.

they were worth it for me. I bought one of someone on eBay for like 5 euro (bout 4 dollars or so) and they threw in FOR FREE a DMC action-figure with all the accessories (that i would gladly have paid more for).

the book idea is really good, someone should get on that.

in '92 GR sent out a postcard to everyone on the beastie mailing list advertising the first issue of GR.....i think ya had to send the postcard back in with money or something.....i slept on it.....wish i didn't........i got all the other mags except for the race car issue......but GR was supposed to put out a coffee table book with all the issues in it around 2000 maybe.....but it never happened......
